I’ve tried to explain, in several different ways, why a conservative, such as myself, should find it troubling that true liberalism is dying on the Left. Liberals, and people like @DaveRubin who consider themselves classical liberals, are now conservatives. This is because the modern-day Left has left liberalism behind in favor of progressivism, also referred to now as wokeism. This is a good thing for conservatives who want to be seen as more tolerant and caring, but it is a bad thing for conservatism overall. Let me explain with the help of Bret Weinstein.
