60 Minutes is covering the Lincoln Project. If you listen to my podcast, you know how much I despise this group. They started with a good idea: Don't let Conservatism become absorbed by Trumpism. They are now just another arm of the Democrat party.
The Lincoln Project Conservatives are made up of two different groups of people:
1. Former Conservatives who are completely blind to the social conditions that caused Trump, but instead believe Trump is a product of bad Republicans.
2. Leftists who are smart enough to take advantage of weak-minded Republicans
The worst part about the Lincoln Project Conservatives is they were the ones who caused the Republican party to change. They never stood up to the Left, and only grew a backbone (if you can even call it that) once they had the support of the people they have always been afraid of.
I don't mean to be so harsh because there probably was a time when Trump was elected where I would have been a part of this group, but they are the definition of useful idiots.
I was listening to some news updates when I heard this CNN clip about the potentially hazardous water in East Palestine, and as soon as I heard her ask the question about whether or not her guest would drink the water, I IMMEDIATELY thought of this clip from South Park. Enjoy.
