As I've mentioned in several of my early writings, self proclaimed Progressives run into one massive problem with their ideology: what are we progressing towards? Progress for progress sake is not inherently a good thing, and, in fact, can be straight evil.
It's easy to make the claim that self proclaimed Conservatives have the same (or similar) problem - what are we conserving? - but at least it's much easier to make a case for the conservation of an idea, principle, and/or tradition established in the past than it is to progress into some sort of "better future" when that dream of getting closer to utopia has so often devolved into a dystopia for the people living in that future. This is why progressives say such wacky things, which are normally silly and harmless, but sometimes move into the wicked and evil territory.
This brings us to the new frontier of progressivism: minor-attracted persons (MAPs). For those of you more well versed in the troubling (and often sadistic) past of progressivism, you'll know this isn't really a 'new' frontier, but a rather old one. But those people are back at it, but they aren't writing in some woke outlet, they are publishing their garbage in USA Today.
The hardest thing to do when you are fighting this horrible nonsense is not to characterize your opposition as 'evil' because that can get overplayed and people become numb to the word, but there is no denying that this is pure evil.
